For this much snow and a little ice on top, we have had schools closed for two days.

The kids were dying to go outside and play in the snow. Being the prepared mom I am, I didn't have boots that fit Madi and Jake, so I improvised and used plastic grocery sacks and taped them around their ankles. Hopefully they will not be scared for life!

This is what Shelby was doing inside while the kids started to play.

Now she is asleep on my arm while I type taking one of her new found cat naps. On Sunday she only took 4 10-20 min cat naps...THE WHOLE DAY! On Monday she slept for a while during our outing to Chuck E Cheese, but I guess the hour ride there and back helped with that one. Yesterday, she took a few cat naps then slept for a couple of hours in her swing. I know she is only 8 weeks, but I was so hoping she would have the sleep/nap thing figured out. Oh well, she's the last...she'll make sure of it!

On Monday, the kids had off from school so we went to Chuck e cheese. The kids had fun...

While Shelby napped...

I wonder why she was so tired..hmmmmmm........

Cute kids you guys! You joined the four kids club...congratulations! I'm glad I'm not the only one that has used plastic bags as make-shift boots!
